If, during an assignment, information provided appears to be inaccurate, incomplete, or incompatible with applicable requirements, A2V Carbon reserves the right to suspend or discontinue work, in accordance with applicable rules and contractual conditions.
Mission
A2V Carbon’s mission is to offer independent validation and verification activities of information related to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The organization operates as an independent third party in the context of these activities, to assess the compliance, consistency, and reliability of the information examined with regard to applicable requirements.
A2V Carbon thus contributes to strengthening the credibility of climate data, the transparency of declarations, and stakeholder confidence, within applicable regulatory and voluntary frameworks.
Scope of Activity
A2V Carbon offers validation and verification activities of information related to greenhouse gas emissions.
The organization does not carry out any consulting, strategic support, project design, or methodology development activities on behalf of the organizations being evaluated.
These activities may cover in particular:
- GHG emissions declarations and inventories at the organizational level
- Projects or activities related to emission reduction, avoidance, or sequestration
- Different emission scopes, according to the requirements of the applicable reference framework
The scope of intervention complies with applicable normative, regulatory, or programmatic requirements, as well as, where applicable, applicable accreditation frameworks.
